PORT AUGUSTA, South Australia – June 24, 2016 – eSolar®, has completed several successful tests of our solar collector system at the Sundrop Farms’ plant in Port Augusta, SA. Our heliostat field construction has completed and our calibration and control systems are functioning excellently. With the receiver completed, it is time to start creating steam.  This post provides a few images from our recent testing. This plant is a great application of concentrated solar power (CSP), producing desalinated water, electricity and heat for a 20-hectare greenhouse farm.
