Michael Slack leads the systems engineering team at eSolar. Dr. Slack is a well-versed scientist and engineer with extensive experience in mathematical modeling. Prior to working in the solar power industry, Dr. Slack did pioneering work in such diverse fields as high-content fluorescence microscopy, pharmacology, target tracking, sensor optimization, multi-sensor data fusion, and business analytics. In addition to his corporate accomplishments, his academic career has included faculty appointments at the University of Virginia, Stanford University, the University of California, and the University of Texas. Dr. Slack holds a Ph.D degree in Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego.
