Brian Spitz is currently Vice President of Finance for American Tank & Fabricating Company, a steel fabricator and processor servicing primarily the energy, defense and construction markets. American Tank has three wholly owned subsidiaries and has a minority interest in Composhield A/S, a Danish company that manufacturers composites for the international defense industry.
Brian has worked at AT&F since 1991. Prior to that, he was a senior accountant at Kopperman & Wolf, an accounting firm. Brian has been a board of director for American Tank & Fabricating Company since 2001, acts as the recording secretary on the board for AMTANK Armor LLC and attends the board of directors meetings for Composhield A/S as an invited guest and consultant. He is also a director and officer of AT&F’s wholly owned subsidiaries.
Brian graduated with a bachelor’s of science from Miami University with an accounting major in May 1989. He earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 1992 and received a masters’ in business administration from Baldwin Wallace College in August 1995.
He currently serves on the finance committee for WIRE-Net, a local non-profit that focuses on providing manufacturing services to companies in the greater Cleveland area. Brian has served as President of the local soccer organization and continues to volunteer his time as a soccer coach for youth teams.
